IT Contractor Pays $1.1M for Alleged Resume Padding



Contract Oversight Computer Sciences Corporation agreed to pay the federal government $1.1 million to settle allegations of defrauding the U.S. Army by submitting false resumes to qualify its employees for higher paying positions, according to a U.S. attorney.

Judge in Blackwater Prosecution Seeks Probe of State Dept.



Contract Oversight A federal judge sharply criticized the State Department's decision to grant legal immunity to Blackwater guards involved in a 2007 shooting in Iraq. That decision nearly doomed the manslaughter case against the guards, which goes to trial in June.
