Senate Prepares to Pass Acquisitions Overhaul as House Starts Markup

After completing a deal on amendments Wednesday, the Senate is set to pass legislation that would overhaul Pentagon acquisitions practices. … "Nothing will change if these and existing rules continue to be flaunted by the Pentagon and ignored by the Congress," said Danielle Brian, executive director of the Project on Government Oversight.
