Alexis DiSanza

Alexis DiSanza is the senior grants manager at POGO, working on institutional fundraising with the director of development.

Prior to joining POGO, Alexis worked at the Environmental Defense Fund and before that at the Sunlight Foundation focusing on prospect research, grant writing, donor communication, and stewardship. She also worked at the Fund for the Public Interest, where she led a team to raise money and build support for LGBTQ+ rights.

Before she got involved in nonprofit fundraising, Alexis did an AmeriCorps year with City Year, DC, where she served as an in-classroom tutor and mentor to children in the second grade. She received a B.A. in political science from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.

In her spare time, you can find Alexis working with dogs at the local animal shelter, or walking her dog Sisko around the Washington, DC, area.
