The Chertoff Group
The Chertoff Group, founded in 2009 by former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, is a security and risk management consulting and lobbying firm that represents clients seeking contracts with U.S. Central and Africa Commands, as well as the Air Force. Chertoff Capital, LLC a subsidiary of The Chertoff Group, provides mergers and acquisitions services for national security and cybersecurity companies and provides consultation for companies engaged in foreign investments that can be reviewed by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). In October 2020, Chertoff Capital served as a financial advisor for Skyris, a large provider of remote sensing data to the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency that was ultimately acquired by ASGN, Inc. The Chertoff Group is also a majority-stake owner of Delta Risk, LLC which provides “customized and flexible cybersecurity and risk management services to government and private sector clients.”
