Brigadier General Bradley W. Butler (USAF Ret.) was Director, Logistics and Warfighting Integration, and Chief Information Officer, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base. In that role he directed " the resources for all command activities associated with maintenance, munitions, transportation, supply and logistics plans. He also determines logistics requirements to sustain missile and spacelift, helicopters and support equipment at required readiness levels." He retired in 2008. Later that year he joined the board of Pentagon contractor MEI Technologies, which provides "applied engineering, cyber, and research and development to public and private sector customers in the aerospace, defense, and biotechnology markets." The company went from receiving $3 million in Department of Defense contracts in fiscal year 2008 to $20.4 million in fiscal year 2017.
