Brian Cummings

Major General Brian Cummings served in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology as program executive officer for ground combat systems from January 2018 until December 2020. In this role, Cummings was responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of ground combat vehicles and equipment including Abrams battle tanks, Bradley vehicles, Howitzers, and Stryker vehicles. Before this, Cummings served in a variety of Army command and staff positions.

In September 2021, it was announced that Cummings had joined national security consulting firm Cypress International as the vice president for combat vehicles, soldier systems, and armaments. His specific areas of focus at Cypress are acquisition and program management, combat and tactical vehicle programs, soldier and weapons programs, combat support and combat service support programs, and warfighting requirements.
