Major General Curtis M. Bedke (USAF Ret.) was the Commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Ohio. In that role he managed the Air Force's then-$2.2 billion science and technology program. He retired in 2010 and became vice president of the Science and Technology Group for High Performance Technologies later that year.
High Performance Technologies' COO noted the company had won "major [science and technology] programs totaling over $300 million with the DoD, NOAA and the Army."
