Brigadier General David G. Ehrhart (USAF Ret.) was the staff judge advocate for Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. In that role he was the principal legal adviser for a Command that managed $47 billion annually in research, development, logistics support, and acquisition. He retired in 2009. According to his LinkedIn profile he became Lockheed Martin's chief counsel for global sustainment less than a year after he retired, and later the associate general counsel for the F-35 program .
