According to his LinkedIn profile he joined Pentagon contractor Fluor as Vice President for Contingency Operations the next year.
At Fluor he was responsible for "strategic planning and global execution of services supporting commercial clients, the U.S. federal government and select foreign governments" and his clients included the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and U.S. Central Command

According to an official biography, while in the Army he had "guided the logistical and transportation support plan for all U.S. forces in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan." According to Bloomberg in his new position he was responsible for "strategic planning and global execution of services supporting commercial clients, the U.S. federal government and select foreign governments" and his clients included the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and U.S. Central Command.
Ethics laws are riddled with loopholes. Without transparency and more effective protections of the public interest the revolving door between senior Pentagon officials and officers and defense contractors may be costing American taxpayers billions.
