Retired Rear Admiral Moises DelToro III served as commander of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) before leaving in December 2018. As commander, DelToro oversaw “a $1.6 [billion] budget for research, development, test and evaluation programs.” In November 2019, DelToro joined Raytheon as a Senior Solutions Architect. In this position, DelToro “[helped] to transform Business Development and Engineering organizations with the goal to increase intimacy throughout the customer lifecycle.”
One year later, in December 2020, DelToro left Raytheon and was hired as principal of Booz Allen Hamilton’s Navy Marine Corps account. In a press release announcing the hiring, Booz Allen senior vice president Dottie Simeona said: “We’re excited to have Moises join our firm to continue to grow our relationship with the Navy, especially within the vital operations of NAVSEA and the submarine community. Moises’ rich experience is invaluable in integrating with our clients.”
In fiscal year 2020, Raytheon and Booz Allen Hamilton were both top 20 contractors with the Navy, receiving over $9.8 billion and $819 million, respectively.
