Colonel Steve Warren (USA Ret.) was the senior military adviser to the assistant secretary of defense for public affairs, retiring in 2017. Later that year he joined Pentagon contractor Aerojet Rocketdyne as chief communications officer.
At Aerojet Rocketdyne he would "define and lead the company's strategic internal and external stakeholder outreach initiatives and serve as the primary media spokesperson."
