DHS Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Review of Adelanto - Sent to ICE in April 2018

Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Adelanto detention center has kept an “alarming” number of detainees with serious mental disorders confined in solitary and many have been isolated for “shockingly” long periods of time, according to a previously confidential Department of Homeland Security review that was obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by the Project On Government Oversight (POGO).
