Porter 10/31/2019 Follow Up Letter to EPA FOIA Rule

Representative Katie Porter (D-CA) responded to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in a letter dated October 31, 2019, to reiterate her concerns about the agency skipping the public notice and comment process for it Freedom of Information Act rule. The letter details how the agency’s October 23 response made it clear to Porter that her concerns were justified. Porter again urged the agency to open the rule to public comment before finalizing it.
