Erica Spitale serves as POGO’s vice president of people, culture, and equity, where she leads efforts to infuse and advance equity, diversity, and inclusion into every aspect of the organization’s internal environment. In this pivotal role, she also serves as a strategic thought partner and executive representative for the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) staff committee.
With over a decade of experience in transforming organizations, Erica specializes in fostering inclusive workplace cultures and dismantling talent barriers to create equitable opportunities. She has a proven track record of designing and implementing comprehensive programs that boost engagement and cultivate a sense of belonging while aligning seamlessly with organizational objectives.
Erica excels in guiding transformational change and nurturing high-performing teams that are equipped to thrive in dynamic business environments. Her passion lies in revolutionizing workplaces into environments where every individual can flourish, thereby laying the foundation for collective achievement.
Erica holds a B.A. in psychology from Hampton University and a Psy.D. in Clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. As a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of practice, she brings a unique perspective to her role, emphasizing the removal of obstacles and simplification of processes to enhance workplace experiences.
