Contribution Acceptance Policy

POGO accepts contributions from individuals and institutions that support our work. We reserve the right to decline gifts and donations from those who advocate viewpoints or engage in activities that contradict our values or commitment to the principles of democracy, inclusion, equity, and racial justice.

To preserve our independence, POGO does not knowingly accept contributions from for-profit corporations, labor unions, any government, or anyone who stands to benefit financially from our work. Contributions are reviewed to ensure our independence. We do accept individual directed contributions and matching funds, and we accept contributions from law firms, which we limit to less than 1% of POGO’s operating budget.

Donor Privacy Policy

POGO will not sell, share, or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. See our Donor Privacy Policy.
