Thursday, April 6: Memorializing Adm. Gene La Rocque at Arlington Cemetery

Last fall, we lost an integral leader of the military reform community. Former Center for Defense Information (CDI) President and Co-Founder Admiral Gene La Rocque, U.S. Navy (ret.), passed away on October 31 at the age of 98.

Adm. La Rocque was an extraordinary visionary and the Project On Government Oversight (POGO) couldn’t be prouder to carry on his legacy.

His family hopes that those who knew him and his work will be able to join them for his memorial service at Arlington Cemetery on Thursday, April 6th at noon.

Details and Directions:

Come through the Hatfield Gate at Fort Myer (please be aware that everyone in the vehicle will need photo ID to be able to travel on base.) People will be gathering in the parking lot of the Old Post Chapel at noon.

A reception will follow at the Cosmos Club afterwards from 3 to 5 pm.
