Bio
Armando Gomez is a partner with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP where he maintains a diverse tax practice. Mr. Gomez served as chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Taxation in 2014-2015, was president of the American College of Tax Counsel in 2023-2024, and has been a member of the ABA's House of Delegates since 2015. Mr. Gomez was a member of the board of directors, serving as chair from 2013 through 2017, of The Constitution Project until its combination with POGO in late 2017. Mr. Gomez received an A.B. degree from Duke University, and J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Georgetown University Law Center.
