Irene Laws is POGO’s project coordinator and works on the Community Engagement team. Her role includes coordinating meetings, events; monitoring outreach and correspondence; and helping facilitate the team’s program development, planning, communications, and reporting. 

She is from Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining POGO, Irene worked with the nonprofit LifeLine Animal Project as a community support coordinator providing Human Animal Social Services for those impacted by housing, financial, or other owner related issues. 

She earned her bachelor’s degree in social science, with a minor in political science, from Stetson University.
