Irene Laws is POGO’s development assistant and works on the Individual Giving Team. Her role involves helping to build and develop POGO’s donor programs, assisting in maintaining and managing donor relationships and donor relevant tasks, and providing general administrative and logistical support.
She is from Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining POGO, Irene worked with the nonprofit LifeLine Animal Project as a community support coordinator providing Human Animal Social Services for those impacted by housing, financial, or other owner related issues.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in social science, with a minor in political science, from Stetson University. During her time there, she was privileged to work with students, faculty, and community leaders to organize events and volunteer opportunities that facilitated mentorship and social action.
